Iran official blasts UN for removing Saudi's name from child killers' list

Secretary of Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezaie rapped the UN's 'shameful' move to remove the anti-Yemen Saudi-led coalition from a child rights blacklist.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Secretary of Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezaie rapped the UN's 'shameful' move to remove the anti-Yemen Saudi-led coalition from a child rights blacklist.

“The name of Saudi Arabia was easily removed from the list of violators of the children’s list for crimes in Yemen and the UN secretary general acknowledges that the move was done due to the possibility of cutting the UN’s budgets,” Rezaie wrote on his Instagram account.

“Of course this dual-track behavior of the United Nations is not something new for the Iranian nation,” he added.

Rezaie went on to say that ignoring Saddam Hussein’s chemical attacks, issuance of oppressive resolution against the Iranian nation and silence towards the human tragedy of Mina incident in Hajj are only a small section of the behavior of this international body.

“This time the UN secretary general clearly confessed that the UN has become a tool of arrogance and the true image of a body that was once supposed to support the human beings was in a ridiculous manner revealed to the people of the world.
